I grew up in south-western Virginia with a supportive family. In highschool I started playing with the PowerPop band Echo3 and fell in love with being on the stage and playing music. I also worked for a local TV Production company and started making local commercials and shooting wedding videos.

I created a record label in college. I gave private drum lessons, instructed drumlines at two local high schools and was a substitute teacher. There wasn't a night when I wasn't playing music and I found myself writing songs which were later performed by a band called Polly Fonic.

After school I decided to move to New York and found myself settling down in Park Slope in Brooklyn.

Since moving to New York I've been lucky enough to play music at every venue from CBGB's to Carnegie Hall and shared these stages with some of the world's best musicians. I've worked on popular TV shows, including Long Island Medium and Friday Night Tykes, for most major cable networks. I've also had the pleasure of making records with musicians from around the world and even recorded a record in a cabin on the side of the Grand Tetons.

I've been a luthier, a photographer, a musician, a producer, a builder, a designer, an editor and a dog owner.

I love my life.
